INTERNATIONAL STARS OF FOLK!

 

2016 sees the welcome return of our favourite Australian, the evergreen Mary Brettell. 

 

Kimber's Men hardly require introduction as they have appeared at the festival on many occasions and more recently they have hardly been off the Television! Great to welcome them back yet again.

 

Prelude are new to the festival but should require little introduction, Who can forget their chart-topping success.

 

We Steal Flyers are an international touring duo, who have fans on both sides of the Atlantic. Always a great set with love and smiles.

 

Scotland sends us Ron Gardner, Ron is a Troubadour in the old style! His act has took him as far afield as Switzerland & Australia as well as all points of the compass in the UK. He brings his friendly humour & dry Doric wit to the festival for the 7th time this year.

 

Beeswing are a staple on the North East Traditional circut, they bring a great depth in knowledge of traditional North East songs to the festival

 

Steel Threads have visited us previously as a duo but return after a 2 year break as a successful Trio. Brilliant folk/rock that never fails to rock the room!
